I originally downloaded Kings ice from TBN when I replaced my laptop last week. I went from windows 7 to 10. That's when I got the black spots all over the ice. I then came here and got the ice that Wasserlasser made and used hi toolbox to change it and the stretched ice came about. I then selected the NHL ice surface and when I ran the script the toolbox detected the ice textures in my NHL 09 folder and finished but did not fix the issue. The thread you linked above explains the exact issue I was experiencing but I've already uninstalled because I've messed up my backups. In the process of reinstalling the game but I won't be able to the ice textures out until tomorrow
Sorry, this week is crazy as I am in Germany and my day starts at 6 AM with meetings until 6 PM and then work dinner until 10 PM and then work after that. I will be back in the US next week and will take care of these things.
So I wiped again. The first thing I did was install the files in the link Icetiger had above. I used the Sabres ice that Wasserlasser has and used the NHL Toolbox to load the scripts. I now have ice that has the black spots all over. I will attempt to do the .bat file load like we used to do.
So where is this right icex.ebo? I used the one from the file icetiger posted and the one from TBN and here. Same indications. The only time I get the stretched ice is when I is the toolbox to import the ice textures. I did all options. Just run the add-on installer, run the installer with NHL ice selected, run with the line fix. All of this is done after I take the files and dump them in the root folder of NHL 09.
