The name says it all: the 30 NHL cities in the game each gets an all-time roster, and the Vegas Golden Knights have been added as a custom roster. For now, the Utah Mammoth are still the Coyotes. To make a city's all-time team, a player must have played at least 3 seasons for the team. Skater ratings were calculated using the included html calculator. The best 3 seasons of each player with the team of interest were used for the calculations. The player must have played at least 67% of available team games for all three seasons combined. In general, seasons with less than half of all possible games played by the player are ignored unless necessary.
Some ratings are still based on Oldie's ratings calculator from way back, but most are reworked. "Adjusting" across different seasons is based on the following links:

With regard to franchises moving, in this roster I've decided to select historical players based on the cities/states in which they played rather than the franchises with which they were signed. Does Ilya Kovalchuk mean anything to the current Winnipeg Jets (former Atlanta Thrashers)? (To use a real-life example, in the 2016 Heritage Classic Alumni Game between Edmonton and Winnipeg, the "Winnipeg Jets/Atlanta Thrashers" invited Teemu Selanne, Dale Hawerchuk, etc.)
