Currently, the Toolbox only supports the installation of add-ons for NHL09. For other games, please follow the respective instructions provided with the add-ons.
If additional features for the Toolbox are desired, please leave a comment in the corresponding Toolbox thread.
This update will allow you to upgrade the Vancouver Canucks in EA Sports 'NHL 2001' game from 2000 to 2020.
List of changes:
- updated some logos (in the main screen, on the locker room door, on the plaq over the aisle that goes to the arena and on the ice during the warm up)
- new images on the jersey chooser for the home, the away, the 3rd and the 4th "vintage" uniforms
- new picture of the arena with the new name ("Rogers Arena")
- home uniform, current (2020) in Adidas AdZero system (see note for further informations)
- away uniform, current (2020) in Adidas AdZero system (see note for further informations)
- 3rd uniform, current (2020) in Adidas AdZero system (see note for further informations)
- 4th "vintage" uniform, current (2020) in Adidas AdZero system (see note for further informations)
- I replaced the ugly "yellow with big V" 5th uniform with the original NHL 2001 4th uniform, that is the 90' home uniform (white jersey with "skate logo" and red, yellow and black stripes)
- the goalie in all uniforms wears an equipment similar to that of Jacob Markstrom
- in the home and away uniforms the goalie wears the mask used by Markstrom during playoff, made by Ranger11 (all credits goes to him!)
- in the 3rd uniform the goalie wears the "Canucks 50 years" mask used by Markstrom during the season, made by Ranger11 (all credits goes to him!)
- in the 4th "vintage" uniform the goalie wears the mask used during the heritage game of february 10th 2020
- new center ice with the current logo (see note for further informations)
- scoreboard updated to resemble the real one
Note - This year the Canucks wear on their jersey the "50 years patch", but now (mid september 2020) their 50th season is ended (eliminated by Vegas Golden Knights in the playoff). So I decided do not include the patch on the jerseys to have the uniforms ready for the next season. The same thing for the "50 years center ice", not reproduced. Instead for model of center ice I used that of 2018-2019 season, that I presume will be used again during the next season.
