Hello, my username is Hossa81. NHL09 is one of my all-time favorite games and am so happy to see that there is still a way to play other people online. I've played thousands of games of it on the xbox 360 and ps3. I am likely to buy a gaming pc soon and so was interested in playing games with this community.
One question I have is do I need a new copy of NHL09 for the pc to play online with you guys or would a used copy do just fine. Something I am a little worried about though is going to external websites to download these add-ons because I don't want to take any chances of downloading a virus onto my new gaming pc. What are your thoughts on this? Could I download the files from another computer onto a flash drive and then install them to the new pc from there? I am intimidated by the process of setting everything up for your communities games but am willing to give it a shot. It was a sad day when EA shut down the servers. Thank you
