But now I have another dilemma: On the left was originally the Centennial Canadiens, who I'm turning into a completely fictitious team; on the right are the Montreal Canadiens. Since the team name is written the same way (registered trademark symbol included), if I view the "Canadiens" entries in the Strings Editor, I won't be able to tell which one is which.

This worked. Thank you.
-
Thank you for that.
-
The tutorial made no mention of that.
-
The tutorial didn't account for that.
-
I did all that, and the game crashed. Yes, I even ran BHImport.
-
Just run BHImoort.
I did that prior to launching the game.
-
Alright. Which tool do I use to import it within thbe Toolbox? I know to modify it with the Strings Editor.
-
The problem was within a modified local.viv, which sucks, because a mod I am making requires that file to be modified.

I was just about ready to boot up NHL 09 to test something out, but then the game went to a black screen, followed by the desktop. So I did what someone like me would do and repaired the installation, and... nothing. I even tried reinstalling the game, and it STILL didn't change anything. What am I doing wrong?
-
I am making a mod for NHL 09 that involves making a new interface. Since I don't know how to do that, could someone please teach me how?

Here is the face I made in action.
-
Alright. I’ll try that next time. Of course, I should save it as the ID that I assigned the player. For example, the guy I made has a face ID of 5.
-
Alright. Again, I accidentally saved it on one layer because I wanted to try another face (id 1326, the one you suggested)
-
-
Btw, the actual cyberface is a png for the purpose of having it show up as a preview.
-
Here are what I've just finished. However, because I closed out of the original image to try 1326, I might be at a disadvantage. I used 4603 (current Red Wing Frans Nielsen, I believe) as the base.
-
Also, I'm guessing you chose 4112 because it's the closest you found?
