NHL09 pc glitch in plus/minus stats, when plus goes to minus above +255

Dear friends,

I have this problem in plus/minus stats in NHL09 pc game. When plus reaches 255 for a player and goes above it turns to minus and start deducting after that. Please do not be surprised if a player can ever reach +255 in a season. It is possible in NHL09, the play is easy mostly even when I play on difficult level and using additional realistic game mode. I score usually above 10 goals per game. If it is exciting or boring, it is different issue, just need to solve damn stat glitch for now. Thank you.

Thank you Wasserlasser, but why would someone (assuming this to be EASports) hardcode such a thing into a game? It would make much more sense if it is hardcoded that the scoreboard does not go above 20 goals for one team per game , for that matter, lol, as no team will lose 20 goals or more in modern time hockey. Well, I am just joking and also because it is a game, one can win 100:0 for their liking, I guess. Anyway, I think it is a correctable glitch (if EASports ever released any patch for NHL09) because I also noticed something else that is very strange in the game. When I start a game first, I will have to go to rules and options setting first and go to keyboard configuration just to move my cursor over the settings that I have set for my keyboard. Then, I will go whatever game mode I chose to play, as normal. If I do not do this ritual, my keyboard is not activated when I go to a game straightaway. Moving my cursor over settings and sounding them is like activating them for real, you know. Have you or anyone noticed this thing in your game? So, based on these strange bugs, I would assume EASports would not release such a raw game onto the market. I think these might be minor bugs that was addressed somewhere, or by a patch(?). Could it be a case?
