It's been 24 years since NHL 09 was made for the PC, and still no effort is being made to port it to the PC? To me there seems to be A LOT OF PEOPLE who would buy it me included. There must be another reason if anyone knows please let me know?
Before the Frostbite 3 engine, porting EA games to PC was challenging and often not profitable enough. EA's NHL franchise has historically been a lower-priority product for PC. However, since the adoption of Frostbite 3, EA has successfully ported other franchises like Madden NFL back to PC, raising hopes for NHL ports in the future.
It would be great, the amount of people that request it, and by the way the game is kept alive by modders, you would figure they would. Profit.
